About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products
  • Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to ensure adherence to manufacturing plans
  • Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
  • Or 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g., ERP systems)
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
