About the role
Responsibilities
- Proactively research, resolve, and prevent all cash and par breaks with custodian banks and third-party administrators
- Manage daily reconciliation processes for cash, par, and non-custody assets across all funds
- Direct fund administrators and custodian banks on appropriate processing and review output for accuracy
- Reconcile and resolve contract and facility level loan positions between WSO, Geneva, and Third-Party Administrators
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs to track trends and workflow issues
- Contribute to the improvement of process efficiencies, risk mitigation, and system enhancements
- Participate in department initiatives including off-hours testing and new business conversions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a business-related discipline
- 5-7 years of investment management operations experience, with a heavy emphasis on bank loan operations and reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of credit, fixed income, derivatives, and FX, specifically bank debt and high yield/alt credit
- Proficiency in Wall Street Office (WSO), Geneva, PowerBI, and Python
- Experience working with custodian banks, agent banks, and offshore service providers
- Strong understanding of the bank loan industry and standard financial intermediary activities
- Exceptional attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Hedge Fund, Credit, or Private Equity environments
- Understanding of basic accounting theories
