About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee portfolio accounting, custody, and middle-office functions while resolving discrepancies with external providers
- Manage new account onboarding, counterparty documentation, and internal system setups
- Oversee fund expense processes including budgeting, accruals, and invoice review
- Prepare regulatory, compliance, and tax filings and support external audits
- Maintain market and compliance documentation for fund local markets
- Respond to client inquiries regarding fund taxes and facilitate various tax filings
- Identify process improvement opportunities, including AI integration, to enhance scalability and data quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Economics preferred
- 7+ years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, or related roles
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with portfolio accounting systems like Advent Geneva preferred
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau is a plus
