Senior Associate - GTO Middle Office - PnL & Valuation

Responsibilities

• Provide ownership and mastery of processes and workflows to support standard operational functions of trading desks
• Perform daily P&L calculation and substantiation ensuring integration with firm standards
• Master proprietary and third-party trade capture, inventory management, and P&L reporting systems
• Act as process super-user to resolve issues between internal groups and external exchanges, clearers, and counterparties
• Support traders' risk management tools and upgrade them to firm standards
• Liaise with technical personnel to implement enhanced workflows focused on efficiency and risk reduction
• Work with the Business Liaison team to ensure correct onboarding of new desks, traders, and products

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in middle or back office
• Strong knowledge and expertise in derivative valuations
• Ability to navigate and analyze P&L across various asset types
• Strong MS Excel skills including VBA experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or material equivalent exposure
• Demonstrated ability to independently and quickly solve problems
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data appropriately

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior interaction with front office and senior management in an active trading environment
• Ability to work with databases and utilize data from APIs
• Python coding skills
