Senior Associate, Fund Accounting

Responsibilities

• Assume ownership of one or more funds, overseeing day-to-day accounting, operational deliverables, and liquidity management.
• Prepare and oversee weekly liquidity and cash flow forecasting across multiple investment vehicles.
• Manage and monitor credit facilities, subscription lines, borrowing bases, and lender reporting obligations.
• Review monthly and quarterly NAV packages, including cash reconciliations, management fee calculations, and carry waterfall models.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with Investor Relations to support performance reporting, liquidity analyses, and bespoke investor requests.
• Collaborate with legal, tax, treasury, and portfolio management teams to operationalize new products and structures.
• Identify operational risks and participate in strategic initiatives focused on automation and workflow optimization.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of relevant professional experience in fund accounting, audit, asset management, or alternative investments.
• Direct experience with credit products and alternative credit strategies.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and closed-end fund structures.
• Proven experience reviewing and validating management fee calculations and carry waterfall models.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 public accounting experience.
• CPA designation.
• Experience with Advent Geneva.
• Proficiency with automation or business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or Anaplan.
