Senior Associate, Financial Reporting & Valuation Private Debt

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and fund level returns
• Contribute to the valuation process for debt, equity, and CLO investments
• Work with Investor Relations to prepare fundraising materials and provide performance data
• Prepare monthly and quarterly MD&A on fund performance for senior management
• Review fund administrator work and coordinate capital calls and distributions
• Collaborate with the Tax team on quarterly estimates and year-end allocations
• Manage daily cash monitoring and bank reconciliations
• Lead the coordination with outside auditors for year-end audited financials
• Coach and develop junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in public accounting for alternative investment asset managers
• Extensive experience with Private Equity or Debt valuation
• Advanced GAAP financial reporting expertise
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• SEC/BDC reporting experience
• CLO experience
