About the role

Responsibilities

  • Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and commercial due diligence assistance.
  • Provide accounting advisory services including IPO assistance, carve-outs, and restructuring for Fortune 1000 companies and private equity investors.
  • Interface directly with senior executives of clients and target companies.
  • Analyze and synthesize target company data to identify historical and projected financial trends, quality of earnings, and working capital considerations.
  • Identify potential liabilities and risks that impact valuation and negotiation.
  • Create tailored transaction advisory reports covering normalized earnings, valuation model assumptions, and business combinations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction services, preferably with a Top Ten public accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution or eligibility for CPA licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC financial reporting issues, or IFRS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed CPA or equivalent professional certification.
  • Specific experience in mergers and acquisitions or transaction services.
