Senior Associate, Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform construction project management and oversee reconfiguration, construction, and alteration of facilities and equipment
• Gather and review data concerning facility specifications, government restrictions, and execution feasibility
• Utilize AutoCAD to develop concept and construction documents for facility projects
• Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and layout drawings
• Prepare bid sheets, project justifications, statements of work, and construction contracts
• Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, and materials
• Manage approved budgets and approve contracts and purchases
• Oversee construction and installation to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications, cost, and schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of related engineering experience
• OR Graduate Degree and 0-2 years of related facilities engineering experience
• OR minimum 6 years of related facilities engineering experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
