Senior Associate, Engineering Science - MEP

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on failure investigations, including comparing original designs to as-built conditions
• Perform field and laboratory testing, field inspections, and technical calculations
• Research and analyze data, review documentation, and draft supporting verbiage for reports
• Create technical demonstratives to support findings
• Analyze technical reports from third parties to develop concurring or rebuttal positions
• Assist with client communications and manage project schedules and budgets
• Develop positive relationships with colleagues, peers, and clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, Architectural Engineering, or a similar field
• 2+ years of experience in forensic/root cause analysis or MEP design engineering
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field
• Pursuing PE credentials
