Senior Associate, Energy Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive global energy strategy aligned with business and sustainability goals
• Manage the entire power lifecycle from site selection through project energization and ongoing operations
• Oversee power procurement, energy agreements, and clean energy initiatives
• Drive sustainability leadership by setting and achieving renewable energy targets and reducing carbon footprints
• Negotiate complex energy contracts and power purchase agreements to optimize costs
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with utilities, regulators, and energy technology providers
• Monitor global energy markets and regulations to identify risks and prospects
• Provide regular market intelligence briefings to executive leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, energy management, business, or a related field
• Experience in energy management, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Proven experience negotiating complex energy contracts and power purchase agreements
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget management and financial modeling
• Ability to collaborate effectively with C-level executives and diverse stakeholders
• Willingness to travel globally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• Experience specifically within data center operations or infrastructure
• Track record of driving large-scale sustainability initiatives and achieving renewable energy targets
• Deep understanding of global energy markets and emerging energy technologies
