Senior Associate, Energy Design Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical studies to determine load requirements
• Perform energy capacity analysis and identify gaps in existing service supply
• Perform analysis to identify energy related risks to venue power supply
• Recommend solutions to meet requirements for loading, reliability, and resiliency needs
• Track design revisions from Venue Management and evaluate impacts on temporary power provider overlays
• Support the integration of internal stakeholders with external delivery partners
• Execute approval and review processes for technical requirements
• Establish working relationships with Venue Infrastructure, Technology, and Broadcast teams
• Work with the IOC and IPC to understand energy requirements and expedite approvals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 3 years of experience assessing, designing, or implementing electrical infrastructure
• Experience with electrical design development
• Experience implementing energy solutions into electrical design
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM360
• Experience working with electric utilities and/or temporary power providers
