About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop global core health economic models, including cost-effectiveness, cost-utility (Markov, partitioned survival), cost minimization, and budget impact models.
  • Program models using Excel, R, or Python, integrating clinical, real-world, epidemiological, and economic data.
  • Conduct statistical analyses of clinical trial and real-world data to generate treatment effects, survival extrapolations, and health utility estimates.
  • Perform advanced evidence synthesis, including network meta-analyses (NMA) and matching-adjusted indirect comparisons (MAIC).
  • Implement scenario and sensitivity analyses, such as univariate, multivariate, and probabilistic analyses, to ensure model robustness.
  • Prepare technical reports, user guides, and presentation files to communicate complex economic findings to stakeholders.
  • Partner with HEOR Product Leads to align economic modeling with global product strategy and HTA requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health economics, econometrics, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in economic modeling with a Master’s degree, or 5+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Hands-on experience developing cost-effectiveness and budget impact models.
  • Proven experience with NMA and MAIC methodologies.
  • Proficiency in modeling and statistical software such as Excel, R, SAS, or STATA.
  • Experience supporting HTA submissions or payer evidence generation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialized consulting setting.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team across different time zones.
  • Innovative mindset, including the use of artificial intelligence to improve workflow efficiency.
