Senior Associate Director of Student Employment Services

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for student employment programs, including Federal Work-Study and institutional opportunities.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with federal and state financial aid regulations.
• Partner with campus departments and external community organizations to expand meaningful on-campus and off-campus work opportunities.
• Manage student employment budgets, allocations, and reporting in coordination with the Student Employment Manager.
• Utilize Slate CRM to advance student employment communication, track hiring, and manage job applications.
• Supervise and mentor student employment staff and develop training resources for student employee supervisors.
• Coordinate the promotion of employment opportunities through fairs and collaborative marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a financial aid office.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs, regulations, and policies.
• Proven experience working with integrated Student Information Systems (SIS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects from development to implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Experience specifically working with Federal Work-Study or Student Employment programs.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft and Slate CRM.
