Senior Associate, Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver high-impact products.
• Leverage a broad technology stack including Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, and Spark to extract insights from massive datasets.
• Build machine learning models through all development phases, including design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
• Translate complex technical findings into tangible business goals and actionable insights for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science) plus 2 years of experience in data analytics, OR a Master's Degree in a quantitative field, OR an MBA with a quantitative concentration.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Scala, or R.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques and model development.
• Strong experience using SQL for data retrieval and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a STEM field.
• Experience working within cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Python, Scala, or R.
• At least 2 years of experience with machine learning and SQL.
• Experience with AI-assisted development or financial services industry knowledge.
