About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with technical design and development of large-scale data solutions in Databricks to support delta lake, reporting, analytics, and AI/ML use cases
  • Support the design and development of technology and data architectures for cloud data warehouse migrations
  • Capture and translate business and technical requirements into actionable technical approaches
  • Lead small workstreams and manage project components to deliver insightful visualizations, reports, and presentations
  • Communicate the value proposition of cloud modernization and transformation to diverse stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a cloud data lake/warehouse architect, designer, developer, data scientist, or AI/ML engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL and Apache Spark
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Working knowledge of ELT, data wrangling, data security, and messaging patterns
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Databricks certification
  • Experience leading technical workshops with business and technical clients
  • Experience driving cloud modernization and data migration projects
