Senior Associate, Credit Risk Operations (Underwriting)

Responsibilities

• Assess merchant credibility during onboarding and monitoring by analyzing business information and financial statements
• Provide tailored credit risk recommendations to mitigate exposure while supporting partner growth
• Prioritize and process incoming applications to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policy
• Deliver data-driven insights to support business decisions regarding onboarding strategies, pricing, and product launches
• Lead process improvements to help the team meet key performance indicators and service level agreements
• Provide feedback on data, tools, and third-party vendors to drive continuous operational efficiency

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience in commercial credit underwriting
• Strong expertise in financial statement analysis and cash flow forecasting
• Knowledge of merchant acquiring services and the payment processing industry
• Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Proficiency in handling complex data and analytics; understanding of SQL is preferred
