Senior Associate - Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze applicants' financial information, credit history, and relevant data to assess creditworthiness.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with loan approvals and recommend appropriate actions.
• Utilize advanced analytics to interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve loan performance.
• Prepare comprehensive credit analysis reports for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment with credit policies and customer profiles.
• Ensure adherence to company credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding credit decisions and guidance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in credit analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in credit analysis, preferably within a fintech or banking environment.
• Strong understanding of credit scoring models and risk assessment methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SME lending and business loans.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing lending practices.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM.
