Senior Associate - Corporate Finance

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries, including international payroll accounting and employee-related costs like bonuses and benefits.
• Manage general ledger accounting, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Perform intercompany accounting and labor expense related entries.
• Execute month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations for payroll cash accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Support financial reporting, variance analysis, and management reviews.
• Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and SOX compliance requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all accounting activities.

Requirements

• Bcom/Mcom or MBA in Finance.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in overall accounting and reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GL processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA/ICWA/CS intermediate with internship experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Ability to be agile in work hours and capacity.
