About the role
Responsibilities
- Support world-renowned Quantum experts in dispute resolution, litigation support, and expert witness evidence
- Perform advanced data research, management, and analysis to assist in drafting expert reports
- Review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, estimates, and financial data, to identify key metrics
- Quantify cost overruns and damages through measurement take-offs and estimate preparation
- Assist in the analysis and preparation of complex construction claims
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to the professional development of team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in building construction, engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost engineering, or construction management
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel and Word
- Experience with industry software such as CostX, BIM, Buildsoft, or Expert Estimation
- Proven experience in preparing first principles construction cost estimates
- Experience writing or contributing to Quantum Expert reports
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic consultancy environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally
