Senior Associate, Acquisitions

About the Company

Established in 2012, Faropoint is a pure play RE fund manager focusing on the last mile industrial sector. Having acquired more than 500 warehouses to date, it is the most active aggregator of warehouses in the US in the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, and market participants to generate acquisition opportunities
• Track and manage an active deal pipeline across multiple markets and strategies
• Perform detailed underwriting of potential acquisition opportunities, including cash flow modeling and risk assessment
• Coordinate and manage the due diligence process on prospective acquisitions
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and competitive dynamics
• Prepare detailed investment memos and supporting materials for Investment Committee presentations
• Work closely with asset management, lenders, and outside counsel to ensure seamless execution
• Prepare regular reports on pipeline activity and market conditions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, commercial real estate, or a related institutional role
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for research and workflow automation
