Senior Associate Accounting

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end reconciliations of General Ledger (GL) accounts and resolve reconciling items.
• Review and reconcile vendor Statements of Account (SOA) with internal records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Develop and maintain finance dashboards, trackers, and MIS reports to support decision-making.
• Prepare management reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and Payroll teams.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement projects for finance processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proven expertise in General Ledger reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience managing people or leading teams and directing accounting activities.
• Strong knowledge of financial management and local accounting principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and reporting tools).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in multinational capability centers.
• Exposure to data analytics, business intelligence tools, or finance transformation projects.
