Senior Assistant General Counsel

Responsibilities

• Lead legal support for energy procurement, utility service, and related infrastructure transactions, including power supply, interconnection, and renewable energy agreements
• Advise business stakeholders on energy and utility strategy for new and existing sites, including regulatory considerations and contracting pathways
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, construction, procurement, and sustainability teams to support global expansion strategy
• Identify and mitigate legal, commercial, and operational risks associated with utility access and infrastructure delivery
• Manage outside counsel on specialized energy, regulatory, and infrastructure matters

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 8–12+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally in infrastructure, energy, utilities, or large-scale industrial operations
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements related to energy procurement or utility infrastructure
• Strong familiarity with power procurement, utility tariffs, interconnection, or energy regulatory matters

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global or multi-jurisdictional operations
• Strong project-management capability and ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
• Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for using AI tools to improve process efficiency
