About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of assets within the Oracle Fixed Asset Management System
- Verify physical items against Purchase Orders and validate specifications
- Capture asset metadata, warranty information, and affix barcode asset tags
- Execute formal asset issuance and maintain documentation for financial integration
- Process internal asset transfers and update department codes, locations, and custodians in real-time
- Manage asset disposal processes and record write-offs in the system
- Conduct periodic on-site physical audits and reconcile discrepancies with the Fixed Asset Register
- Coordinate asset reconciliation for international stations via Country/Station Managers
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets
- Proficiency with barcode generation, scanning systems, and RFID tracking
- Advanced skills in Excel and Oracle MIS reporting
- Experience with SOX/Audit preparedness and Supply Chain Policy implementation
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the GCC region
- Currently based in Oman
- Availability to join within a maximum of 30 days
