About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform process parameter setting and defect improvement for the battery assembly line
- Conduct assembly parameter optimization through data-driven experimentation and DOE execution
- Establish and revise PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and control plans
- Develop new model introductions and 4M change verification
- Test and evaluate new cell processes and equipment
- Conduct internal and customer audits and implement corrective actions
- Partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot yield and quality issues
- Analyze and improve OEE and yield of assigned processes
- Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train operators
- Analyze cell defect data to monitor process stability and quality
- Create data visualizations and technical presentations for leadership teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in a technological or manufacturing field
- Strong grasp of statistical and data analysis
- Understanding of quality systems such as Six Sigma and DOE
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in battery-related work
- Experience with laser welding
