About the role
Responsibilities
- Understand design and implementation with a specific focus on the Memory Management Unit (MMU)
- Define verification scope and develop verification infrastructure, including testbenches, BFMs, checkers, and monitors
- Implement test and coverage plans to verify design correctness
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and software engineers across global sites
- Plan and execute the strategic direction of testbench methodology using advanced techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant work or research experience in ASIC verification
- Strong knowledge of Computer Architecture and ASIC design methodologies
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, C, and/or C++
- Experience with constrained random testing, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
- Experience with simulation tools such as VCS or IES and debug tools like Debussy or GDB
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of memory subsystem micro-architecture, cache topologies, policies, and interconnects
- Experience with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)
- Proficiency in creating SystemVerilog checkers and scoreboards
- Experience with Semiformal Verification (SFV)
- Knowledge of Perl or Python scripting
