Senior ASIC Engineer, Power Integrity

Responsibilities

• Participate in innovative processor design using deep submicron technologies
• Work within a global circuits team to design innovative power delivery and power management solutions
• Build models of analog and digital circuits and systems across various environments with different degrees of abstraction
• Perform detailed block-level and system-level simulations to ensure design reliability, performance, and stability
• Serve as a mentor and technical lead for junior team members

Requirements

• BSEE (or equivalent experience), MS, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of professional experience in relevant fields
• Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Allegro
• Experience with simulation tools including VCS, HSpice, Spectre, and Primesim
• Expertise in modeling and simulating digital and analog circuits and systems
• Familiarity with Analog and Mixed Signal (AMS) simulations and languages such as Verilog and VerilogA

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience modeling and simulating complex power delivery networks (PDN) from die level to platform level
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Ansys Siwave, HFSS, Sigrity, Matlab/Simulink, or Simplis
• Understanding of control loops and feedback systems
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, Python, or Skill, and experience with automation methods/algorithms
