Senior Architecture Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain overall software architecture for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• Create detailed architecture diagrams, technical workflows, and documentation using tools like Visio or Lucidchart
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for development teams
• Design and oversee the implementation of cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure
• Architect microservices and API-driven integrations for interoperability and modularity
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption, including the integration of AI-driven components
• Ensure compliance with security standards, identity management, and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams through design reviews and performance assessments

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development and architecture with a proven track record of designing complex systems
• Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure, including designing cloud-native and hybrid architectures
• Strong expertise in creating architecture diagrams and technical documentation (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of secure coding practices, encryption, and compliance standards
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with middleware platforms like MuleSoft and SAP CPI/BTP
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and interest in responsible AI practices
