Senior Architectural Technologist

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of complete architectural drawing packages in a Revit-based BIM environment
• Oversee and review Revit models to ensure accuracy and alignment with design intent
• Develop detailed construction drawings, assemblies, and building envelope solutions
• Coordinate consultant models (structural, mechanical, electrical) and perform clash detection
• Conduct Ontario Building Code reviews and ensure compliance with regulations and zoning
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior and intermediate technologists
• Perform QA/QC reviews of drawings and models prior to submission
• Support construction administration including site visits, shop drawing reviews, and RFI responses

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience
• Degree in Architecture (asset)
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and the ACC platform
• Expertise in building science, envelope design, and modern construction methods
• Experience with Navisworks or similar clash detection tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Photoshop, and MS Office
• Ability to coordinate complex consultant workflows
