Senior Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead component architecture activities and participate in enterprise architecture strategy and definition
• Own end-to-end threat modeling for applications, services, and platforms from intake through risk closure
• Identify architectural and design-level threats using established models and real-world attack patterns
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to analyze architectures, data flows, trust boundaries, and integrations
• Recommend practical security controls and validate mitigations via design reviews, configurations, or code inspection
• Ensure applications adhere to established company standards, policies, methodologies, and industry best practices
• Provide in-depth technical consultation to internal clients to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture
• Mentor engineers to improve the quality and consistency of threat modeling outcomes

Requirements

• 4+ years of Architecture experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education
• Proven experience driving threat modeling efforts across applications or platforms
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25
• Experience with STRIDE or similar threat modeling frameworks
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for tracking activities
• Ability to review architecture diagrams, design documents, and navigate code repositories

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Information Security, Application Security, or Security Architecture
• Experience with industry-recognized threat modeling tools such as Microsoft TMT, IriusRisk, or ThreatModeler
• Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and its relevance to design-level threats
• Hands-on experience with manual code reviews to identify security risks
• Experience with cloud-native, platform, or GenAI/agentic architectures
