Senior Architect - Rail Design

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, review, and governance of architectural design for Rail projects to ensure functional integration and compliance with RTA standards.
• Manage pre- and post-contract architectural design concepts aligned with transportation goals and sustainability directives.
• Oversee architectural deliverables including station design, signage, wayfinding, landscaping, and intermodal interfaces.
• Review design submissions for elevated, underground, and interchange stations, ensuring adherence to accessibility and acoustic standards.
• Provide technical oversight and architectural consultation to cross-functional engineering disciplines throughout all project phases.
• Review consultant RFPs, bids, and developer proposals to validate compliance with architectural standards and value engineering principles.
• Support architectural quality control during execution and handover, including site inspections and material testing validations.
• Update internal architectural design manuals and documentation frameworks in line with international best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience.
• Proven knowledge of rail infrastructure design and large-scale transportation projects.
• Strong understanding of sustainability and environmental design principles.
• Experience in managing architectural design through planning, procurement, and technical oversight phases.
