Senior Architect

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction site activities to ensure architectural designs are implemented correctly according to plans
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to resolve design or construction issues
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
• Address and resolve on-site conflicts and make necessary adjustments to plans
• Prepare progress reports for clients and stakeholders, highlighting deviations and proposed solutions
• Maintain detailed documentation, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders
• Liaise with clients to understand project needs and ensure satisfaction

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of demonstrable experience in architectural supervision and project administration
• Extensive experience with large-scale projects within the Middle East consulting industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or an equivalent qualification

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional membership in a recognized institution (e.g., PE/Peng, CEng, etc.)
• LEED GA or LEED AP certification
