Senior AR Executive

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely control of accounts receivable and overdue account management.
• Maintain accurate records of customer balances and analyze the effectiveness of credit control systems.
• Reconcile complex key accounts and distributor accounts.
• Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Liaise with customers, sales teams, and distributors for efficient payment collections.
• Implement and enforce organizational policies to improve finance processes and ensure compliance with Corporate Control & Risk policies.
• Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and yearly close procedures, including group reporting support.
• Assist the Finance Team with special projects as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and debt recovery.
• Degree or certificate in Accounting or Finance (B.com/M.com).
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to negotiate winning solutions and make successful credit decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Navision.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a disciplined approach to identifying and resolving issues.
