Senior Aquatics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain aquatic life health by adhering to operational guidelines, performing water changes, and medicating as needed
• Provide expert aquatic care and maintenance, including aquarium system upkeep and housekeeping tasks
• Act as a primary resource for guests and partners regarding aquatic education and care using the company selling model
• Manage aquatic life orders and special-order requests to maximize sales and inventory accuracy
• Complete digital paperwork, including water test results and receiving purchase orders, in a timely manner
• Participate in physical inventory counts and collaborate with leadership to improve department management

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience working with or caring for freshwater and marine aquatic life
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in mathematics and basic accounting relationships
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends
