Responsibilities
- Apply state-of-the-art, multimodal neural search and ranking models to optimize scalable machine learning solutions
- Work on cutting-edge AI models, contributing to research, prototyping, and production deployment
- Partner with scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver AI-driven solutions
- Support and mentor junior scientists and engineers
- Contribute to machine learning best practices, including model architecture and deployment pipelines
Requirements
- PhD in Information Retrieval (IR), NLP, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of industry experience in deep learning-based NLP and IR applications
- Strong proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
- Proven ability to drive AI initiatives from research to production
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of building impactful AI solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multimodal data including audio, video, and transcripts
- Experience with large-scale experimentation infrastructure and Trust & Safety systems
