Senior Applied AI Scientist

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied research supporting decision automation, knowledge gathering, and structured reasoning
• Design and evolve knowledge-centric representations including graph-based and relational structures
• Develop agent-based approaches for reasoning, planning, and adaptation in dynamic environments
• Create semantic, relational, and causal representations for explainable AI decision-making
• Integrate learning, memory, and context into AI systems to capture tacit knowledge
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into scalable production systems
• Evaluate and benchmark models and architectures for reliability and reasoning quality

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or related field (or Master's with 2+ years of applied research experience)
• Expertise in deep learning architectures including Transformers, GNNs, and LLMs
• Strong foundation in knowledge representation and relational reasoning
• Experience building and leveraging knowledge graphs or structured knowledge systems
• Hands-on experience with LLM prompting, fine-tuning, and agent-oriented development
• Proficiency in programming agentic AI systems and LLM orchestration
• Experience deploying deep learning systems in cloud environments like AWS or Azure
• Experience with graph databases and large-scale graph processing libraries

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in causal inference, probabilistic reasoning, or decision modeling
• Publication record in AI, knowledge representation, or agent systems
