Senior Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions to support semiconductor product development, validation, yield optimization, and manufacturing efficiency
• Design, code, and maintain software programs, algorithms, and automated pipelines to analyze large, unstructured datasets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and service teams to translate domain challenges into data science solutions
• Identify and communicate actionable insights from large data sources through clear analysis, visualization, and presentation
• Drive exploratory research and innovation by applying the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to complex semiconductor problems
• Support and improve existing tools and workflows through automation and enhanced analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 2+ years, or PhD)
• Demonstrated track record of building and launching end-to-end data science solutions, including data engineering and ML Ops
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis, modeling, and automation
• Strong written and verbal English-language communication skills to convey technical findings to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly within the memory sector
• Expertise with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Familiarity with agentic AI systems and autonomous agents capable of reasoning and executing complex workflows
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for teaching others about data science
