About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate new concepts for Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) products through simulation, prototyping, and validation
- Collaborate with design teams to transform concepts into robust, scalable solutions
- Support validation and compliance processes to ensure products meet industry and customer requirements
- Create, review, and maintain technical documentation and application notes
- Provide technical support to customers and ensure alignment with design recommendations
- Drive product quality by contributing expertise in signal integrity and EMC throughout design phases
- Perform analysis, testing, and debugging using internal and external lab equipment
- Communicate complex technical topics to cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Ethernet / SPE technologies (100BASE-T1 / 1000BASE-T1)
- Experience with Ethernet compliance and certification processes
- Strong background in analog and digital circuit design
- Experience in system- and circuit-level simulation and analysis
- Hands-on experience with measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs
- Expertise in signal integrity and EMC testing and debugging
- Proficiency in programming or scripting (Python, C, C++, C#, Java, or uPython)
- Business-level fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive or semiconductor industries
- Familiarity with AI-supported workflows
- RF design and debugging experience
- PCB design experience (Altium)
- Firmware development and soldering skills
- German language skills
