Senior Applications Developer

Responsibilities

• Support the operations and maintenance of enterprise business applications across production and non-production environments.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, application issues, and production support tickets.
• Develop, modify, test, and maintain application code using Ruby on Rails, Java, web services, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Support applications interacting with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with system administrators, database administrators, and customer stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in functional, regression, integration, and production validation testing.
• Support controlled change management and production deployment activities.
• Document technical changes, issue resolutions, and operational support steps.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of experience as a senior software developer or software engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, Java, PL/SQL, and web services / WSDL.
• Experience working with relational databases including Oracle, MySQL, and/or SQL Server.
• Proven experience supporting production or mission-critical application environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across code, database, integration, and environment layers.
• US Citizenship eligibility for security clearance.
