Senior Applications Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, structure, and guide the development of scalable, secure, and reliable software applications using .NET and AWS Cloud.
• Provide strategic guidance on technological capabilities and emerging innovations to align with the business product roadmap.
• Prepare and review architecture diagrams and design concepts, specifically for Kafka-based integrated solutions.
• Lead deployments and configurations of new software builds across both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and maintenance tasks using tools such as Terraform, Chef, Ansible, or Jenkins.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to implement robust monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Lead technical design sessions and conduct code reviews to maintain high quality, performance, and security standards.
• Bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions by contributing to technical roadmaps and system integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 12+ years of experience operating within an Enterprise Technology structure.
• Extensive development experience with .NET and AWS Cloud technologies.
• 10+ years of relevant IT experience within financial, investment, or FinTech institutions.
• 5+ years of experience creating logical and physical data models (SQL, NoSQL, and Graph/Neo4j).
• Proficiency in Agile development, system design, and DevOps/deployment automation (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, JFrog).
• Strong understanding of modern technologies including Angular, React, Java, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and REST APIs.
