Senior Application Specialist – Culinary Applications, Meat/Meat Alternatives

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application support and conduct customer visits across the EMEA region specializing in Meat and Meat Alternatives
• Translate ingredient technology into value-adding application solutions for customers
• Design, execute, and follow up on application trials and projects both internally and at customer sites
• Develop new application concepts aligned with market trends, strategic objectives, and new product launches
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and other internal stakeholders to drive innovation
• Prepare structured technical documentation, reports, and trial summaries
• Train customers and internal colleagues on applications, processes, and product usage
• Support R&D activities, including innovation projects and patent-related work

Requirements

• M.Sc. in a relevant field combined with 5–10 years of experience in the food industry
• Solid industry experience specifically within Meat and/or Meat Alternatives
• Strong technical knowledge of proteins and hydrocolloids
• In-depth understanding of food chemistry and nutrition
• Practical experience with manufacturing processes, pilot plants, and analytical techniques
• Ability to travel internationally (approximately 30–50 days per year) across Europe and the AMETI region
