Senior Application Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing of applications
• Identify, prioritize, and track security vulnerabilities and work with development teams for remediation
• Manage and maintain security tools including SAST, DAST, and WAFs
• Provide support during application-related security incidents, including detection and analysis
• Promote security awareness through training sessions and workshops for development teams
• Maintain detailed documentation of security assessments and generate regular compliance reports
• Integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in collaboration with architects and IT operations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in application security practices

Requirements

• Software development background
• At least five years of experience in an Information Security position
• Proficiency in development languages such as Java, C/C++, Perl, PHP, .NET, or Python
• Experience in security test management and application security assessments
• Knowledge of major frameworks like SPRING, OSGI, or ASP.NET
• Experience with Agile development and vulnerability management
• Skills in penetration testing and security evaluation
