Senior Application Engineer – Scade/MBD

Responsibilities

• Lead technical customer engagements including discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, and pilot evaluations for Ansys MBD solutions.
• Guide complex sales engagements by addressing customer software development, verification, and certification challenges.
• Develop proof of concepts, example projects, and technical workshops based on specific customer use cases.
• Create pre-sales materials such as presentations, training modules, and video content.
• Act as a trusted advisor and recognized Ansys expert to customers within the region.
• Coordinate with the Ansys team to ensure synchronized delivery of work products and effective communication.
• Support field and digital marketing efforts by delivering technical content at events and seminars.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of professional experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) or related fields.
• Proven experience in Model-Based Development (MBD), code generation, and V&V activities.
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ software development and control systems.
• Practical experience in embedded systems design.
• Strong proficiency in customer-facing communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electronics or Computer Science.
• Exposure to Systems Engineering and MBSE, including standards such as DO-178C, ARP 4754B, or MIL-Std-882E.
• Experience with Ansys SCADE, Mathworks Simulink, or SysML authoring tools like IBM Rhapsody.
• Familiarity with industry protocols such as MIL 1553, CAN, AFDX, ARINC 429, or ARINC 653.
• Knowledge of Python scripting and networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, gRPC).
• Prior experience working with Aerospace & Defense OEMs or suppliers on flight controls, autopilot, or engine control systems.
