Senior Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new software programs using Mendix
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software products
• Design and update software data models and develop modern UI
• Test and maintain software to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Mentor junior developers and potentially manage small development teams
• Communicate regularly with management and technical support colleagues
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs and processes

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Mendix and knowledge of Java or .NET
• Mendix Rapid Developer certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Working experience building APIs and services using REST and SOAP
• Experience working within Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Mendix Expert developer certification
• JavaScript expert level proficiency
• Advanced CSS3 experience
• Experience with Java and Sparks EA
