Senior Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for independent power production systems, including gas generators, battery storage, and solar energy for large-scale data centers.
• Act in a client-facing capacity to build designs and review technical specifications.
• Analyze equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine feasible designs.
• Evaluate engineering proposals and process requirements using computer-assisted design software.
• Determine the feasibility of new applications by considering costs, space, time limitations, and economic factors.
• Compile and analyze operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for new or modified equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a relevant engineering field (ABET accredited).
• 6-8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience within the energy field.
• Proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel 30% or more to support business needs.
• Possession of a valid local driving license.
