Senior Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations including processes and batches for the Group Treasury-Liquidity Risk group
• Develop cost-effective and robust applications, with a split of approximately 50% new code and 50% existing code/support
• Provide technical support for applications in production and during user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Participate in systems implementation, planning, and development cycles
• Provide technical guidance to team members and work within cross-functional teams to deliver project initiatives
• Collaborate with core project teams, data platforms, infrastructure, and security teams
• Execute programming, unit testing, and work with vendor applications

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in application programming, system analysis, design, and debugging
• 5+ years of experience with Talend, Java, K8S, Docker, and SQL
• 5+ years of experience with Linux/Unix and related scripting
• 5+ years of experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with RDBMS (Postgres preferred)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with NiFi
• 2+ years of experience with Elastic Search
• Experience working with large volumes of data and data transformation
• Knowledge of financial instruments
• Experience with application/solutions architecture and source control systems (GIT preferred)
