Senior Application Architect

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture for a distributed, cloud-native Investment Accounting platform focused on scalability and resiliency.
• Lead the modernization of legacy VC++ systems into Java-based, distributed microservices.
• Design modular microservices and event-driven architecture patterns for real-time, high-throughput processing.
• Establish data architecture, integration patterns, and cache-driven design strategies.
• Implement cloud-native solutions using containerization, orchestration, and DevSecOps principles.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to guide engineering teams through complex system transformations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software architecture and distributed systems design.
• Strong programming proficiency in both VC++ and Java.
• Proven experience with AWS or Azure and modern CI/CD platforms.
• Deep expertise in microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience building large-scale, high-performance, and low-latency systems.
• Strong understanding of data consistency and transaction processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Investment Accounting or Financial Services platforms.
• Familiarity with observability frameworks and operational intelligence.
• Experience working in regulatory and audit-heavy environments.
