Senior APC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Initiate and develop advanced process control (APC) concepts and roll them out in production areas
• Identify and manage projects in dynamic modeling, operator training simulators (OTS), and model predictive control
• Coordinate projects with various stakeholders including AI engineers, production units, and process engineers
• Develop dynamic simulation models for chemical and polymer production processes
• Execute operator training simulator projects and implement automation best practices
• Standardize project approaches from a global perspective

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering (or related) with 4+ years of experience
• OR Master's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering (or related) with 2+ years of experience
• OR PhD in Chemical or Electrical Engineering (or related) with 1+ years of experience
• Eligibility to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)

• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate non-authoritative leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
