Senior AP Accountant

Responsibilities

• Process invoices using two-way and three-way matching, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with financial standards
• Manage vendor payments and ensure timely execution aligned with agreed terms
• Support vendor lifecycle activities, including onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding in line with segregation of duties (SoD) controls
• Handle employee expense claims via Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Prepare accruals for vendors, employees, and intercompany accounts for monthly closing activities
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with internal and external partners
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to support colleagues and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in shared services or high-volume environments
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting
