Senior Antenna Structure Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and provide recommendations on antenna structure system and sub-system interface documentation
• Evaluate antenna structure engineering details including plans and specifications
• Recommend system level solutions for discrepancies and deficiencies in antenna structures
• Liaise with DND and stakeholder engineering groups to ensure system integrity and reliability
• Provide antenna system integration, analysis, and evaluation services
• Create technical data specifications, plans, drawings, and SOWs for interface items
• Conduct antenna system integration testing and evaluation
• Manage antenna system test and evaluation plans
• Perform antenna towers engineering and Radio Communications engineering (VLF/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Ka/Ku/X)
• Perform microwave systems engineering

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an Antenna Structure Specialist/Engineer within the last 20 years
• Engineering or Science degree (Canadian or accredited international degree) or a recognized College diploma in IT/IM field
• Professional Engineer license in a Canadian province preferred
• 5+ years of experience writing Project Technical Documentation (SOW, SOR, etc.) for IM/IT projects valued at $5M+
• 5+ years of experience in satellite antenna infrastructure components (analysis, design, or implementation)
• Valid Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance (Secret pending)
• Ability to obtain Controlled Goods Certificate
