Senior Animator

Responsibilities

• Clean, process, and retarget captured data to digital character rigs
• Collaborate with directors, animators, and tech artists to refine performance quality
• Integrate animations into the engine
• Troubleshoot mocap rigs, markers, and related technical issues
• Ensure animation quality meets artistic and technical standards across all assets
• Work with wider art, design, and code teams to champion best technical practices
• Provide constructive critique and solutions during reviews
• Self-motivate and provide motivation to other members of the team

Requirements

• Experience working as a Senior Animator on at least one published AAA console title
• Extensive experience with MotionBuilder and Maya
• Proven experience with mocap clean up tools
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, body/creature mechanics, and animation principles
• Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5
